Shit MatsuJun, can he want Ohno more?

What? Don't tell me you didn't spot it. The guy might as well have been stripping Ohno with his eyes. Okay, we'll start from the beginning.

They yakk with Tamori and Yoshie about their year, Aiba said something stupid again. They yakk more about how successful Arashi is. Yeah we know, big whoop lets move on.

They sang "Believe", gosh I love the choreography for this song. I love it when they fling their arms around. I hate the jackets they were wearing. Almost all of the jackets. The glitter on Sho's, the hoodie on Nino's (WTF, that hoodie, wtf wtf omfg wtf hideous), the material on Jun's, the colour on Aiba's. Best dressed Arashi for the night would be Ohno.

Oh and I also love it when they look like they were going to take off like Superman. Yeah, that shit rocks. I am so deprived of sleep right now, I can get a bit... off. xD

I kept wrecking my brain thinking about Jun's hair for the night. I couldn't decide if I liked it. Then it hit me that it looks like something between Johnny Depp and Albert Einstein.

And Nino's sissy arm. That sissy arm. You know? If one day, it gets revealed that he's gay, I seriously won't be surprised. I mean, I know they're all slightly femmie-ish, but Nino. Seriously. I'd rather believe that Hitler was framed than Nino is straight.

Aiba likes to jump on one leg when he sings. It really isn't very cool. It makes me go wtf every time. Nino likes to reach for the sky when he sings, and that sissy arm thing. It is time to get more creative. I mean, we don't want the same actions for the next decade now do we? I don't know... maybe they should... have more variety. We like variety. Madonna would have been long forgotten if she ain't such a chameleon.

[PV] Arashi - My Girl

I know I am more than a month late for this. I snapped out of it for a while and I thought I'd stay that way. Who knew it'd be my... escape from all things... realistic?

Initially, I didn't like the song. I thought it was boring, but like most of their songs, they warm up to you after a while. Not too impressive, but it isn't bad. The song isn't bad at all, kinda warm and sweet. What I don't get... is the video.

I am sorry, but isn't it a bit cheesy? They're brothers and their mother just passed on and they were either planning on revamping their house or moving. Then they took turns staring meaningfully at a composite picture of their faces (if this were their mom, she... looked like Ohno... and she wasn't really attractive) and then they found a letter. They read the letter and then decided to keep things the way they were... or something like that.

Kinda... lame but not that it was totally boring. They look good in the video too. Most of them. The clothes were fine. You know what wasn't fine? MatsuJun's hair. What the hell? I was watching some show (forgot what) and he was saying he was so happy he cut his hair and stuff. Seriously? That hair? It looks like... okay, lemme take another look before I think of something to compare it with.

I'll just continue yakking first. The theme was purple-maroon-greyish (for the part where they were standing and singing facing the camera). I like the whole colour palette they were choosing from. What I love most, Ohno's pants! I want them, for myself, but tighter on the ass and crotch area... basically, I like the skinny cut. Nice pants. Jun's shoes, I didn't care for, Aiba's pants... where it was rolled up... it would have been hideous on anyone else, but it seemed fine if it were Aiba. Hey, I watched Mannequin Five okay. The man looks good in almost anything.

Their home clothes in the PV was fine. Just fine, since it was a home setting. You should see me at home... xDDD Hey, I live on the damn equator, it is really freaking hot here. If there's a nudist club around here, I'd join it.

HA HA, their dad's name is Taro, their mom's Hanako, and then their kids Ichiro, Jiro, Saburo, Shiro and Goro. HA HA. That's like if your name is Jack and your wife Jill and your kids Jack II, Jack III and so on. HA HA.

Fine, I am cool. I still can't think of what MatsuJun's hair remind me of ( was thinking somewhere along the lines of Wada Akiko back in the 60s). So I'll stop thinking. Oh and I so didn't mean to capture crappy screenshots of Sho's face... its just that, the man has A LOT OF hilarious facial expressions and I am too lazy to go back and recapture them. So I'll just leave them be. xDDD

PV Reminds me a bit of "Happiness" except more mellow, less gay - thank god, cos in this context, it'll be incest.

[Buzz] Saigo no Yakusoku

So they're making a drama SP together. Much buzz was generated when they announced that this is the first since V no Arashi - which, I have watched and I think it was a complete trainwreck, not watchable, full of crap. Noble effort on the boys' part considering the fact that they were fresh and all.

The five will star as five dudes (duh) in a building that was hijacked. MatsuJun will try to bang Kuroki Meisa's character (I totally made this up) because... hey, what else do you want to do when you're about to die? Kuroki Meisa is so pretty I think I am having a girl crush. And I don't get girl crushes easy cos girls are snotty and jealous.

Lets... look at the banner. I have to admit it is pretty... impressive, the banner. What I don't get is... that... what does it have to do with the storyline? And why topless? God knows I don't want to see Nino and Ohno topless. It will be a bag of bones and I would be disturbed. And Sho's shoulders... I have to laugh everytime I see them. They're so... sloping. HA HA. I know they think it is sexy and all... it's not bad, but if I want sexy... I find it elsewhere. Lets face it, these are no Gerard Butlers or Javier Bardems. (Gosh... Javier Bardem...) Maybe idol-ly and insane-y is how they should stay.

Hey, I am just saying... this is specialization I am talking about. You want coffee? Run to Starbucks, don't go to Starbucks for... uh... beef? Get it? But Sho's and Aiba's looks were kinda working. What? When you're desperately hungry, maybe they can find you some beef in Starbucks. Pies and stuff. No? They have them at my local Starbucks.

Conclusion: It is not like I can't wait for this. It is just that... I am a bit curious. But it seems serious and we know crack is what these boys deliver best.

[TV] Glay - Medley @ NTV Best Artist

Oh crap, this video brought back a ton of memories and a sudden realization that I had a Jrock phase. Before I fell into the clutches of Johnny's, I liked something else Japanese. It was so long ago that I honestly reminisce it as something from another lifetime.

Then I watched this video, the AMAZING performance of "However" and "Winter, again" two of my favourite Glay songs EVER EVER EVER. Then it hit me... L'Arc~en~Ciel, Dir en grey, Gackt, X Japan, I used to like that kinda stuff.

Oh my gosh, something tells me I am going to lose sleep tonight as I dig through my stash of videos to find the Jrock stuff I abandoned years ago. Whoa, omfg I am so psyched right now, you have no idea.

I mercilessly deleted a whole lot, that, I am pretty sure. Sigh, look! Takuro grew facial hair, crap, now I have to like him too? (Hair fetishist on the loose!) Teru really didn't age well. Poor thing. OMG Jiro and Hisashi look exactly the same as I remembered them to be. Then again, I can't see enough of Hisashi's face to comment. Doesn't matter.

When the opening of "However" was played, I was like "Ah... I used to like this song." and then they played "Winter, again", Teru's vocals, with minimal background music, it was soft and then the music kicked in - this hit something in me. And then I just had to dig out my stash of stuff.

The songs, ah, the songs... "Beautiful Dreamer" too. But their 2009 single "I am XXX" is actually good! I am happy. Now excuse me as I go reminisce my teenage years with the Jrock soundtrack which I am about to compile.

You'll be surprised with some of my phases. =D
