Satoko is a girl who longs for love. The movie opens with her, hanging on to her boyfriend's leg as the boyfriend walks away from her. Satoko works at "Heaven's Gate", a female-escort service, oh yeah and her boss grabs her ass a lot. The top call-girl there named Akiyo sleeps in a coffin and wonders about God a lot. There's also Chihiro and Toko who are roommates. Chihiro is an office lady pining for a guy who doesn't quite want her for anything other than sex and Toko is a bulimic artist.

The movie tells the tale of the four girls as they seek to achieve their dreams, find love and just live their lives in the city of Tokyo.

Kinda boring, but Ando Masanobu is in here, for a small role only though. Anyways, I like Ikewaki Chizuru! Yeah, okay.

Err, the slow pace of the movie and the lack of dialogue seems to be the common thing among Japanese movies. And I find it boring. I want movies that throw the story at me and not movies that require me to think.

Thinking is a tiring task.
