Guest: Stupid
xD This is the essential post-Odoroki review episode where they think about all the stupidity they showed the world at golden time and tell the viewers how much stupidity was omitted during airing. Basically, this is a show that tells you how stupid they actually were in addition to the toned down version of stupid which was Odoroki.
Chan-Ogu pointed out that Nino's experiment about the 'leaving things alone' under some tanning light-ish-thing was edited out a lot. Well, seriously, they had to. Have you seen what they used as subjects? Nino pointed out that he knew that his part was very much edited out the moment they decided to do it. It was certain that they would omit a lot of his parts, or so he said. xD Nino has such a high level of awareness, it amazes me.
Do you know what they freakin' title this episode? "In-a-way-more-interesting-than-the-golden-Unaired-Scenes-SP" xDDDDDDDD They freakin' tanned a squid and an egg. And a panda plush toy. Well the panda plush toy was tanned under the insistance of Hino director. Nino suggested, before the unveiling of the tanned egg that perhaps it would be dark, like century eggs. Oh wait, they did bananas too. The people who thought of these are most probably mentally disturbed, really. And Ohno freakin' ate the rotten banana. The banana was all black and they were like "It tanned". xD Right, okay. In addition to the ones aired, they also tried to breed egglants in a large seashell-type-thing. Ohno has creepy lady-fingers. xD
One small part of Aiba's Mirrorman experiment was unaired. He was trying to walk pass an overhead bridge. xD It failed miserably. We have seen snippets of it in Odoroki previews.
In the ponyo trumpet experiment, they actually tried driving past the trumpeters with half the speed and it was looking fine-to-air until Aiba messed the thing up by using a recorder at the end. xD So it was ponyo-ponya-piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. xD The next one was MatsuJun and Ohno, trying to find which bottle of a different shape with the same opening size will flow the fastest. Or something. This was sufficiently boring.
xD Next was a section where the member would try and figure out what they did wrong. Sho tried to take a very optimistic approach by clapping... the rest were more sour-faced. I love the people at Shukudai. They rock at being stupid. Chan-Ogu pointed about later in the show "Sometimes, Shukudai gives you a lot of WTF moments, no? Remember the time we were asked to sleep?" xD LOL. That was a winner, I tell you. They had to wait a few hours for a couple of the experiments, so they thought they should improve on that to avoid making the guests pissed off. Like that stupid Yatterman smoke from a box thing. That took 3 hours. Have you seen the experiment? It was like... what were we waiting for?
I THINK the Konbu boat had some insects in there... and uh it stunk like hell. This was the supposedly last of the boating series but Sho sorta wanted to do it again and Jun suggested that the Captain should be changed. Sho wanted to give it to Aiba who surprisingly is aware of his own abilities and said that it is not a matter of who in Arashi is captain. Perhaps someone else should be captain, someone with actual boating experience.
Towards the end, they realized that their leader hasn't quite spoken a word. They made him do the ending where he called the show "Jikken-kun" sorta like a combo of Experiments and Shukudai-kun. It is like Brangelina. Very trendy, Ohno.
Yeah, that was all. I need to get out of the house. My hibernation period should be over by now. I need to go stock up on crap for my refrigerator. Seriously, does no one do that except me?

Hi! Nice blog! I'm looking for the video of Ponyo's trumpet experiment but can't find it! do you have any clue where I could get it ? I saw it on telly when I was in Tokyo and I'd like to show to some friends. Best!
