[Talk] Johnny's vs Non-Johnny's

I thought a lot about why Johnny's is such a Japanese culture.

If I think about my finals as much as I think about J-pop, I'd pass with flying colours for everything. T_T

Anyways, back to the topic.

Compare Johnny's to... Lead, Flame, W-inds and Tohoshinki. What do Johnny's have that the others don't? To make things easier I will compare Johnny's to Tohoshinki alone.

Dancing Skills

Singing Skills

Good Songs

Yes (If its singled, its good)

Hell Yeah

Sure Thang!

They are everywhere

History in Japan

If 3 decades is history...

Tacky Costumes

Judging by the table above and after my in-depth analysis, I conclude that Johnny's win over Tohoshinki because of [1] Sluttiness, [2] Exposure, [3] History and [4] Tacky Costumes.

[1] Sluttiness

Have thou not been sprinkled with the slutty bacteria of Kamenashi Kazuya /Akanishi Jin and occasionally Matsu Jun?

Sluttiness has not been a Johnny's culture from the beginning. At least not to me. With the arrival of KAT-TUN, sluttiness found a whole new market in J-pop. KAT-TUN put the slut in sluttines.

Need proof?

My greatest fear is that Ryo has joined the slutty crowd.

This is not the slutty picture I meant, but sifting through hundreds of folders is not really what I like to do right now.

[2] Exposure

As if having exclusive rights to appear in certain shows is not enough, they now dominate the Japanese Popular Culture by hosting some of the most watched TV shows and variety shows that features up and coming dramas and music.

People who need publicity go to these shows for exposure, to tell people that they have something out and lure fans to spend their sweat and blood to feed the people.

Now they have SMAPxSMAP, Domoto Kyoudai, Utaban, Cartoon-KAT-TUN, Mucha Buri, Jani-Ben, Golden Rush Arashi, Arashi no Shukudai-kun, just to name a few that the whole groups are involved in or the more popular ones (Utaban).

Group members went solo on Waratte Iitomo, Utaban, Nakai has his bowling show for drama promoters, Domoto Tsuyoshi has his Domoto Tsuyoshi no Shoujiki Shindoi, Murakami on Momoko, Aiba on Tensai Shimura Doubutsuen, that is only the tip of the iceberg.

Ended shows that had a long run include Honjani, Mago Mago Arashi, D no Arashi, Mugendai no Gimon, Suka-J.

There's the Shounen Club that features undebuted or debuted Johnny's, there's also the yearly Johnny's Countdown and J-Sports.

OMFG OMFG Guess what? L'arc~en~Ciel's Hyde and Ken are going on Cartoon KAT-TUN!!!

I know, what excitement. Tohoshinki on M-sta and (MAYBE) Utaban and now this! All my likes, loves, used to likes, used to moderately likes, they are all coming together!

I just don't want Gackt to appear anywhere... since Sheela said he is haunting her. >.> Maybe he'd haunt me too, that's bad. Shoo Gackt, shoo.

[3] History

I made an essay that surpassed 3000 words in my other blog about how Johnny's corrupted generations of Japanese girls.

Johnny's is not just a talent agency or an artist management. It trains artists, it has solid business partners to propel its artists to the top instantly regardless of the artists if they are talented or not, hot or ugly. Doesn't matter, if he's a Johnny's boy, there is a steady fanbase waiting for them. Amazing ain't it?

I was wondering if Johnny would take Tohoshinki under their wing like they did with Golf and Mike. Those are Thai brothers. I hate those two.

But that is just wishful thinking, Avex ain't so bad for Tohoshinki.

[4] Tacky Costumes

I have more piccies but I am too lazy to edit them cos I am facing what we call finals. >.>

I am so eng even though I have finals.
