I like Arashi. A lot.

Why? Well, it all stemmed from their stupidity and engness. I have never seen people who are more eng than Arashi.

No, eng is an understatement.

Its no secret that the group is goofy and dorky. Its no secret that they'd do anything for the sake of nothing. But, going to such a level to do crap for nothing. The effort and determination they have in them is indeed unmatched.

Never has the world seen a gathering of dorks as dorky as this. Now if only MatsuJun joins in more on the stupidity.

Contrary to the image, you would think that Sakurai Sho, the university graduate would be the most level headed person. Nay.

His image went down the drain and a newfound fondness for him grew in me.

It is not that I watch them weekly, waiting to see who can outdo the others in terms of stupidity. It is just that stupidity sparks a liking in me, it is a chain reaction. Stupid --> Wah Likable!

Automatic, chain reaction.

Thou need proof. I give thee proof.

Odoroki Arashi 2. Once in a while, they have a Arashi no Shukudai-kun Special, which is called Odoroki Arashi, this is where they test if certain theories are workable, certain things are doable.

Experiment number one. How far can they ride in a cardboard boat that is manually rowed?


So they made the boat. It weighs 300kgs and can accommodate 10 persons.


And so they rowed. And rowed.

Not far from the starting point, water seeped into the cardboard. Nino was whining about how bad the situation was.

For Sho, he knows stuff, he's smart. And buckets are the universal problem solver. "It's okay, we have buckets," he said.

So they were going to be sitting on a piece of ice and then a boat thingie was going to pull them off to Tokyo.




It was slippery, the piece of ice. And it was melting away as they headed to Tokyo, the speed and the mid day sun melted it.

And since the piece of ice is already melting away, and the piece of ice is their means of transportation, the only option left is of course to eat away the ice.

Any idiot knows that. We eat the ice when we need to ride on the ice for about a thousand kilometers. In fact, anyone who doesn't eat ice when riding on that same piece of ice is stupid. We should all shave ice and eat it, that is the way.


Adding syrup to saltwater ice is... yummy. Smart people know how to eat.


Great, its tasty. We should eat more of the ice that we are riding on!
