[Buzz] Saigo no Yakusoku

So they're making a drama SP together. Much buzz was generated when they announced that this is the first since V no Arashi - which, I have watched and I think it was a complete trainwreck, not watchable, full of crap. Noble effort on the boys' part considering the fact that they were fresh and all.

The five will star as five dudes (duh) in a building that was hijacked. MatsuJun will try to bang Kuroki Meisa's character (I totally made this up) because... hey, what else do you want to do when you're about to die? Kuroki Meisa is so pretty I think I am having a girl crush. And I don't get girl crushes easy cos girls are snotty and jealous.

Lets... look at the banner. I have to admit it is pretty... impressive, the banner. What I don't get is... that... what does it have to do with the storyline? And why topless? God knows I don't want to see Nino and Ohno topless. It will be a bag of bones and I would be disturbed. And Sho's shoulders... I have to laugh everytime I see them. They're so... sloping. HA HA. I know they think it is sexy and all... it's not bad, but if I want sexy... I find it elsewhere. Lets face it, these are no Gerard Butlers or Javier Bardems. (Gosh... Javier Bardem...) Maybe idol-ly and insane-y is how they should stay.

Hey, I am just saying... this is specialization I am talking about. You want coffee? Run to Starbucks, don't go to Starbucks for... uh... beef? Get it? But Sho's and Aiba's looks were kinda working. What? When you're desperately hungry, maybe they can find you some beef in Starbucks. Pies and stuff. No? They have them at my local Starbucks.

Conclusion: It is not like I can't wait for this. It is just that... I am a bit curious. But it seems serious and we know crack is what these boys deliver best.

I was eating lunch as I flipped open today's paper. And a surprise was waiting for me on the last page of the entertainment section. There's a picture too! Not that I am unsympathetic, but I was laughing my head off - even if I had prior knowledge of the news - at the sight of such a report.

Firstly, I was surprised that the local newspaper actually reported a piece of news on a Japanese boyband. Secondly, it had to be such a disgraceful piece of news. You don't even see Amy Winehouse running around stark naked in public places. Unless you are at a nudist beach or something.

I am not like, happy over this. I'd just like to state that. More like indifferent, okay, that would be outright lying. I am slightly amused. But this is some serious shit. Not that anyone ever expected Johnny's boys to be squeaky clean. I never did. I expected orgies and drugs - in PRIVATE. I guess someone forgot to lock the door when the man was drinking.

Goodbye FNS Kayousai host position. A few months of suspension, maybe. Oh poor thing. You expect near 20 years of entertainment business experience would help you learn something. I guess sometimes, you just mess up.

Now, it is time we sit back and see how Johnny's Jimusho tries to cover the thing up. Hide the skeletons. Now this has got to have to a pretty big grave to shove it in. Lots of monay too. Oh well, gotta move on. I didn't plan on blogging, but I love dramas, controversies and bad press. I am, afterall, just human.

READ MORE. Because I love drama. Especially when it doesn't threatens the existence of entertainment shows that I watch religiously. Though I do watch SMAPxSMAP quite often. OMG, that show is the shizz. What is going to happen to it?

[Talk] Tasteless and the Partial Hiatus

The calendar pictures are... hideous.

Very straightforward comments. Highlight to read. Hidden because even I think it is a bit too much. But hey, if I didn't think that these boys can do better than the pictures above, I wouldn't have been so unhappy about it would I?

They made them look like crackwhores, sluts and you can tell that they're trying to make it sexy. The colour matching is beyond horrific. If you want to make it sexy, at least make it tasteful. Geez.

It is so horrible, the moment I saw it, my eyes burned and I had to run around screaming "My eyes, my eyes... eff you calendar!"

The whole thing makes them look like cheap, STD-infected prostitutes of sorts. BUT they're not. Yeah, they're actually healthy, happy, bouncy people.

Aiba looks like a whore who was addicted to opium back in the times of the Opium war. That revealed nipple does not help with the class thing at all.

Ohno. Frankly, I am not sure what is he trying to be. Perhaps a nymphomanic tree hugger.

Sho. Very straight to the point. A stripper at a tasteless strip bar. Even had notes stuffed into his pants. Who made those pants? They're fugly.

Jun. His attempt at the come-hither look is not entirely a failure. But... peacocks?

Nino. Suicidal depressed, emo ex-mistress?

Frankly, the cover is as hideous, Sho's outfit was so horrible, I swear my eyes could start bleeding. The one with the bathing in petals thing... what is this? Soft porn? I want good, clean rainbow, happy Arashi. Whoring out Arashi is not my cup of tea. Perhaps it is someone else's. If I want porn, I can go get them. But I don't, that's why I watch them. Now that they're going pornographic... I don't know what I'll watch anymore.

Last year's calendar was nice though...

Yours truly has had her first day of classes. And she is unhappy and has a headache.

And... there's a partial hiatus for my blogging here. ;_; Now if only the break is like... 6 months instead of 3... it is going to be a rather tough semester. ^^ Lucks to me. xD

[Buzz] New DVD Tracklist

Now that I have seen the tracklist... I am not as excited about it. Okay, firstly, I know it is held at the Kokuritsu Olympic stadium. I know Carl Lewis was there. (Aiba never forgets to remind people...) I know that it was rare and they were performing outdoors and it was bright when they started with "Love so sweet". But I am disappointed to see that some of my favourite non-singles Dream-A-Live tracks were not performed. It might be towards the end, after Gorimuchuu. But I doubt it. Why do they perform B-sides from singles released ages ago when they can perform songs from their latest album?

And sure, there's "Truth" and "Kaze no Mukou he" and "One Love" but strangely, my favourites are not the singles. Well, actually, I have many, many favourites. And it not only consists of the singles.

But nevertheless to own it would be great.

But, I have my mind set on something presumably far greater.

The 10 anniversary tour. You know there will be one. Wait, there will be one right? Like... it is their freakin' 10th anniversary. KinKi Kids had one. V6 did too right? Or something.

[Buzz] That non-animated PV...

Is "Believe" going to have two versions of the PV? I was very disappointed when I learned of the animated superhero-Arashi thing. I mean... seriously, I hate that animated PV thing which most groups would have at least ONE in their career. But hey, look what came up? A nice, more expensive-looking PV. When that came up, I was thinking "Now you're talking..."

Okay, about the song. I have heard the complete song and I have to say. I don't think much of the verses but the chorus is VERY addictive. VERY. Like... you would want to play it when you are driving and you'll drive fast when it is playing. It is very... catchy, quite powerful and definitely worth a listen.

I hate animated PVs to no end. I just don't see the point. I might even think that it is a lame excuse for a PV masterminded by money-hungry producers to avoid renting sets and making arrangements for various things needed for PV-filming. "Film it? That's a stupid idea... why don't we just draw it?"

I like it that Arashi has a system of letting the member who is most associated to a certain song to stand in the middle and take the spotlight. It is very... supportive of them (or the people who decide the formations and positions.) It is very rare and I initially typed out a comparison with other group and then I realized that I sound like one of those "my idols are better than yours" fan, which, I will not become, therefore, I took it down. xD

Share the spotlight. It makes everything round and sugary and perfect and happy.

Back to the PV. It has lots of water, green things and water. Oh and great dance steps. Pretty savvy. I like jumping. Jumping is good. Towards the end of the preview, you can see Aiba getting a headache.

And then there is the other preview with the animated Arashi. Well, it isn't that annoying now since they have a live action PV. It... is a double A-side right? So, is that Ohno solo going to have a PV as well? I generally discourage a solo number by any member. Cos... like... it has less of a wow-factor. But hey, they're Johnny's. It is not like they can break up and go solo. Look at SMAP, for goodness sake. Old and still together. Now that, is admirable.

Oh, wait, but what is this? A Yatterman No. 1xDoronjo scene?

xD Gawsh, like, I wanna watch the movie. Like, really.

[Buzz] Their Fans Scare Me, At Times

I am not much for screaming. At least not in these recent years. And when I was teen, you should take that into account because... you know teenagers...

I am most certain any Arashi fan has heard of Sho's 'big' appearance at the Comic Con in the Big Apple. First and foremost, I am sure anyone would be happy to find that they're popular in foreign countries. But from what I heard, there was quite a bit of a ruckus that was caused. But the screaming... I HATE SCREAMING. I despise screaming crowds. Screaming obscenities~ There are places where it would be appropriate to scream "NIPPLES" at Sho. Say, concerts~ and stuff. But... I'd think it would be rather inappropriate that one should do that when he is promoting a movie. But hey, it is their problem, not mine.

You know how during movies, some cast member would be more popular than others? And if their fans kept screaming when it was time for the cast members to speak, it would be quite an awkward situation. Especially when they're just screaming for the popular ones and then neglect the others. It is kinda unfair, because, although the distribution of popularity can never be equal, one would like to be acknowledged as part of the [whatever] that they are promoting. For me, I think fans should at least show a little respect and acknowledge others that also contributed to the work. I don't know, it is not quite my problem, if Sho loves bathing in the limelight like that... good for him. xD Just an opinion.

It was not the case for Sho's appearance at the Comic Con. At least not from what I see. I was watching a fancam just to see to what extent the crazy fans who planned to travel there to see him actually did so. There were freakin' uchiwas of his name. xD I don't know, but I imagine passerbys to be a bit... "WTF". Oh well. And I swear I heard someone from the crowd screaming "Chikubi". I wonder if it was appropriate. I'd rather have my fingernails removed sans anesthetic rather than do that.

Is it just me or is this global warming thing really affecting the weather. It is so freakin' hot here and people living in places where you need to wear more than two layers of clothes, I envy you. Back to the topic, Sho speaking English. xD He kinda mumbled. "Yatterman is a film with VERY Japanese flavour." xD Well, considering the fact that he never said that he is fluent in the language, you have to credit him that he made like... one tiny mistake. For those who were all "I was born in the States, yo" and all "I studied in Europe for years", and then made simple mistakes... xD that is when we point at laugh at their lack of learning abilities. But I'd have imagined that a translator taught Sho that, so... Okay, like who gives a shit, really, about English and all.

What threw me off was the numerous fan reports they have flooding my LJ friends page. (as a result of the community being flooded.) O_o We get it, you met him and was smitten. Like, he is not Jesus or something, you know? If it were the Second Coming and you were awed, I'd get it.

I heard that the movie is kinda great. I look forward to watching it... in a few months' time. (RAWR cinemas here. RAWR.) I like the thing they have going on between Hatori and Arashi. xD He is like... their biggest fan, really. When asked of what other Arashi members said about the movie, Ohno is mute and Jun asked about Miike, Sho said he was probably aiming to work with him. xD Miike Takashi is like, legendary or something. He was behind that movie "4.6 Oku nen no Koi". I watched it. =D I am not going to comment on it. xDDD Oh and "Sukiyaki Western Django" and "Crows Zero". Not forgetting "Zatoichi". xD I have to say, that "Django" one... xD pretty hilarious. I wonder if it was meant to be a comedy. xDDD But of all Miike movies I watched, they're so... varied and interesting. It just pulls you in, even if they're... a bit strange. xD And his works are so different from each other. TO ME. And I don't get Japanese cinema, at least not that well.

I know Fukuda Saki is the girlfriend, but can Gan have a smooching scene with Doronjo? Please? I don't care how. I don't care if it suits the plot. xD

[Buzz] FukaKyon's Outfit Arouses Men

On set of the new movie "Yatterman" based on an ancient anime from way back when, FukaKyon plays the antagonist (and very sexy) woman named Doronjo. The movie is to be kept as close to the original anime as possible as the many characters were wearing clothes, using things that are reproduced from the images of the anime. They tried to stay true to the wildly popular anime.

And so, FukaKyon's costume is no exception. A few details might have been changed to... uh... adapt to the changing time, but the gist of what Doronjo is supposed to be like can still be seen on the costume.

And the men are very excited. xD Okay, I might have made a lot of things up. But seriously... xD

Said movie also stars Sakurai Sho and Fukuda Saki will be playing a couple and of course, the two Yattermans. And Gan-chan will have lots of love interests, including Fukuda Saki's, FukaKyon's character and an original character from the film (and playing that character is Okamoto Anri, the girl who played Asou Haruto's patient in the SP of "1 Litre of Tears" She is 14. And Sho would be a freakin' pedo.) Or so, I read. You know? I hope FukaKyon wins. xD

I really like her outfit, btw. Like... xD it looks so slutty, it is amazing.

I like Fukuda Saki too. But I like FukaKyon more. xD I watched FukaKyon's episode of Shukudai from a long time ago, and I could swear that Sho flirted with her, a bit. Since then, I sorta like... think that they're great together. xD (I swear, he tried with the stupid Relakkuma question.)

We also look forward to this movie, very much. Arashi sings the theme song.

And Sho... uh, okay, how do I put this subtly... Oh, I know. Nino is the actor of the group. I haven't watched the movie, but I have watched Sho is several other movies. And... Nino's the actor. Some might say Jun, but Jun cannot hold a candle to Nino.
