New single, coming up! May 8!

Limited edition second and third songs: "Easy Come, Easy Go" and "Liar" respectively.

Regular third song: "Baby! Be My Baby!"

Why do they do that? Why do they include a different song in different editions so that people have to get them all?!

Seriously, its annoying.

But yeah, whee... new single! So fast! They're on a roll!

I don't know why I am using the exclamation marks.

I am not actually that excited. I am hoping its something as good as "TEPPEN". I really like "TEPPEN".

I consider it one of their best!

[Single] Kanjani8 - WA HA HA

The Jacket covers are out for Kanjani8's up and coming single titled "WA HA HA".

If you are like me, your reaction right now would probably be "WTF!?".

Well, yeah, I guess they have to be different and all, since KAT-TUN got the slutty label, NewS got the smart label, Arashi got the gay label. Kanjani8 has to settle for the weird label.

I hope its a song like "Sukiyanen, Osaka" I fuckin' love that song like crazeh.

But I hope its not as gay as "Its My Soul". The hotpants, the choreography... OH LETS NOT THINK ABOUT THAT FOR THE MOMENT.

[Single] Arashi - Step and Go

Arashi's "Step and Go" single has covers such as the ones shown below.

The one with Aiba in the middle is the Regular Edition and the one with Jun is the Limited Edition.

I don't know what to say about it

To say that its good... its not, to say that its fugly, its not.

I like Aiba's hair?



But when you seen covers the likes of KAT-TUN's "LIPS" nothing can be too bad.

Besides... its simple and colourful. I just wonder why did Jun wore Sho's colour and Sho wore Ohno's colour and Ohno wore Sho's colour.

Oh well.

[PV] NewS - Taiyou no Namida -Movie Version-

From the drama "Kurosagi" comes the movie um... well, "Kurosagi". I haven't watched it yet... I have no chance of watching it because I live in like the anti-Japanese movie place or whatever... I hope the DVD releases fast, like, real fast.

Anyways the theme song for this movie is... "Taiyou no Namida" by NewS. The movie version of the PV is out... Well, all you see are clips from the movie. I was wondering why the PVs out so soon, I mean, KAT-TUN's lips single will be released earlier and the PV is not out yet.

Then when I watched the PV I realized that this is just to promote the movie. I think there will most probably be another version of the PV featuring NewS. This PV has no Ryo. Boo this PV. But it did work getting people all hyped up for the movie.

For the drama watchers who watched this drama, I think they would most probably be eager to watch this movie because watching the drama and not watching the movie would be like watching something without an ending. That sucks.

In this movie, Tsurara (HoriMaki) still has that Mizuki hair... xD Probably was filming the movie while filming "HanaKimi".

Its nice watching Kurosaki and Tsurara together again, they were so cute...

Um... most characters reprise their roles, if not all. Its going to be a good movie, I think. But although "Daite Senorita", the theme song for the drama did sell a LOT two years ago, I have a bad feeling for the sales for this single.

Its not as catchy, its not a song that once you heard a snippet of it, you would crave for more. You know? There are some songs that leave you wanting more and more after you hear it, this is not one of those songs.

I don't mean that its not good, its just... not GREAT. The fans would probably get the single out of loyalty. The sales would be... okay... but probably not exceeding that of "weeeek". I hope for it to sell a lot... but it probably won't. I think.

But my predictions are crap.... so yeah. Some screencaps from the PV and the single CD cover.

We have Pi attempting to be Jack Sparrow in one, and in another, we have Pi looking like he has large breasts... oh wait, he does have large breasts... that is why Ryo is always all over him... WHAT? xD I mean, who hasn't seen those concert pictures with Pi carrying Ryo up after a hug and then they turn round and round and.... aww... so romantic...

What? I am just bored, you see...

[Single] KAT-TUN - LIPS

I think this is the jacket cover thingie for the single.

I think. And you know the Japanese come out with a gazillion editions for one single... so all three are here, I think. I think. Well... I don't know what to say.

I don't believe they are actually serious... but... these pictures are popping up everywhere I kinda believe it already. If this is a joke, it has got to be the best ever! Cos its funny and people fell for it...

Do they actually design it intending to make it look like this? Or did they spend all the money on something else and ended up with a tight budget and then hired an amateur to do this?

About the song...

The verses are rather unimpressive BUT the chorus is very good. Its like "Bokura no Machi de". But my favourites are still "Real Face" and "Keep The Faith". But depending on the drama, this single just might sell. (Yes, even with THAT cover.) And although all of KAT-TUN's singles sell a lot as compared to the other groups... I am speaking in comparison with KAT-TUN's other single and not generally.

But I doubt it will reach the success "Keep The Faith" got. Their sales were going down until "Keep The Faith" changed it. Because its THAT good. Mainly because Himuro Kyosuke from Boøwy wrote it. Like how Tak Matsumoto from B'z wrote "Real Face". I tell you, the composer really matters!

I watched the performance on the show "KAT-TUN no Senpai Oshiete Kudasai" I might screencap it later... because Ueda and Taguchi looks so... xD WOW (even if Taguchi's outfit made him look like he had jumped out of some Star Wars movie). And Nakamaru... But they were singing into what I initially thought were hairdryers.

No kidding.

Arashi - Step and Go ♥
I cannot wait for it... It is set for release on the 20th of February... OMFG its so near the day I have to go back to lessons and classes and crap. OH I HAAATE classes.

I love being a lettuce, why can't they just let me?! Give me my degree and let me be the vege that I am... RAWR.

NewS - Taiyou no Namida ♥
Will be released on the 27th of February 2008. Theme for Pi's "Kurosagi" movie... Speaking of "Kurosagi"... I remember watching that last episode where Pi was to scream and put his hand up in an effort to reach for the antagonist in the drama while being stopped by tens of policemen.

I laughed. Even when I was in the middle of my Pi phase... xD cos its so funny. Hmm... I wanna watch Nobuta wo Produce again. And I cannot wait for "ProDai SP". I like Pi and Nagasawa Masami more than the so-called YamaKi combo of Pi and HoriMaki. PiMi has a good vibe and they rhyme. Masami, Yamapi, Maki.. Okay... they all almost rhyme...

I think NewS should do a NewS version of P"ikaNchi". I think every group should have their version of "PikaNchi". It puts the love in member-love.

KAT-TUN - Lips
The theme for "1 Pound no Fukuin". 6th February 2008. Its a busy month for Johnny's fans this coming February. I... um...

Well, here it is, I am going to say it.

I think I have the performance... got it before people started to interfere my crap talk on my blog. Now I completely lost interest. Not that it is anyone's fault... *cough* *cough* I wonder if Kame gained weight for the drama... I mean, reading the synopsis... I was like "Are you sure? Kame? Cannot control appetite? Heavier weight class in boxing?" I mean... how can he play a character like that when Jin's stealing all the food?

What? I mean, last I remember Kame's a total stick figure. Gosh they should feed him. Stop giving all the food to the guy who is voted the sexiest! Feed poor Kame! ♥ But yeah, he must have gained... that Kame, I mean.

Oh well.

I wonder why did they arrange the release date so near to each other. Especially with Arashi and NewS. A week apart.... Arashi's sales will be affected by NewS's release...

But then Johnny's need no advice in marketing or anything, I mean... they are dominating the whole effing boy-band industry, and music shows, and dramas, and stuff.

I hope for another fluffy one from Arashi and I have heard Taiyou no Namida from news reports on their dome concert... its cheerful. My type of song baby!

Arashi should make another PV like "Happiness" or "Hadashi no Mirai". Ah "Hadashi no Mirai" is a nice song let me go listen to it now...

Oh, oh, I think Uchi and Kusano are never going back to the groups.

I don't know what to say about it... but since I started to really like the monkeys after they got suspended... its totally okay for me either ways. See, if they go back, I'd get to see a whole new group and it will be the beginning of a new era...

If they don't... well NewS and Kanjani8 are both doing better than ever... but the rejoining would probably boost sales for a single or two... its the product modification thing. You know, create all the hype and all.

Really, sometimes, in the music industry, a good voice doesn't really sell. I mean, look at all the American Idols... Reuben who? Taylor what? But I know Carrie and Kelly... for Jordin... I think... not, but who knows? [Forgive the AI talk, I was watching it and the funniest thing happened and I got excited.] Its the package baby, the package. As far as I know anything those Johnny monkeys throw out will sell, probably better than the rest.

I think next I will talk about Nakashima Mika being a total stick. I totally love her and her being a total stick makes me love her even more... But yeah, she needs to eat some carbs, really, being that skinny cannot be too healthy. ♥

[Album] NewS - Pacific II

Second day of its release, it sold 41,208 on that day alone.

Doing well aren't they?

I have a thing or two to say about their album though...

I don't like it. "TEPPEN", "Sayaendou", "Hadashi no Cinderella Boy" and "Hoshi wo Mezashite" we all know and liked, they are in the album. But the vocals on "Alibi" and "Chirarism" are horrendous! Horrible! Horrijible! The songs, some are sung solo, some sung in pairs, some in trios. Frankly, I think NewS needs more unity, and splitting them up even during recording is bad. IMO.

"Mafuyu no Nagareboshi" is not a new song. >.> Ryo's "Code" and Pi's "Gomenne Juliet" was okay. "Ai Nante" by Ryo, Tegoshi and Shige was okay. That's all if I am not mistaken. "Kimi Omou Yoru" for me was okay, "Change the World" was mediocre, "Ai no Matador" was good though. "Nantoka Naru Sa" by Pi, Koyama and Masuda I haven't heard. Then there is a the one minute acapella piece by Ryo and Pi which was one of the best on the album.

I might, or might not, or might, most probably I might be biased. ^^

[Single] NewS - weeeek

Lo and behold as the power of Johnny's Jimusho tramples all the others and smash them into sticky goo.

NewS's single topped the charts, while the five other new singles for the week followed.

Their album, "Pacific" also topped the album charts.

64068 copies sold within the week.

Tohoshinki and Koda Kumi's was third only.

At 6th we have W-inds with Beautiful Life. I thought W-inds split, since Tachibana Keita had a solo single album whatever. Whatever.

weeeek is not included in the Pacific album, thus forcing insane fans who have disposable income to spend more purchasing both. weeeek single (the W is not intended to be capital lettered because... that is the way Japanese people does things. >.> Sometimes they cap all, sometimes they cap normally, sometimes they don't cap.) has two versions, the normal edition and the limited edition.

The difference is the CD booklet and the third song of the single. Thus making people buy even more.

Have you heard? Tohoshinki's third Japanese album has... about... 7 versions.

I am not effing kidding, but that should be left for another entry.
