[TV] Gackt @ Shin Domoto Kyoudai

Gackt was my first Japanese obsession. Ah nostalgia. I find it interesting that he is still the idiot that he was. I have a thing for idiots. Don't we all?

KinKi Kids performed their new single "Yakusoku" at the beginning and then Gackt came out only when it was the part where they interview him. First they reminisce old times when Gackt was a regular. FukaKyon was and is a big fan of Gackt's. xDDD They then showed a video clip of back when she was 18 and went on the show on Gackt's birthday. Later, DoTs and DoKo brought out a cake that is covered with candles. So it was a cake on flames. xDDD I mean, Gackt is a couple of centuris old, is he not? They later showed videos of Gackt sleeping on the show. xDDD I was gasping for breath at this point. xD The worst thing is... it didn't look like he was acting! xD I think he was dozing off. There were a couple of videos of him almost falling from his stool. WTF Gackt? Wtf...

xD Then Gackt was answering questions with his usual suave, cool attitude and his answers were all really cool and then DoKo said that he'd use those answers should he be asked those questions in the future. xD DoKo's imitation of Gackt failed miserably. When asked what he wouldn't lose to others, the answer was competition. Then a leg-wrestling competition ensued. DoKo was the first challenger. When DoTs decided to compete with Gackt, Gackt said the person who said "ittai" first would lose. Instead of that, DoTs said "kusai". xDDDDDDD

And suddenly, I remember why I liked Gackt. He's actually a handsome man. Really handsome. I forgot about that over the years. When you compare other guys and Johnny's, you might just wonder... why? They're short, they're... not that handsome, really, in general, I meant.

Why do I like them? It makes no sense sometimes.

Frankly, I don't quite believe a word Gackt says. xD I meant in this interview and also the crap he said years ago about taking three days to make curry and walking around naked despite the room service dude going into the room when he is in hotels. xD Ah~ the good old days when Gackt was my Arashi. xD Well, then it was Dir en grey. Oh~ how much I have changed.

Gackt sang "Kimi no Tame ni Dekiru Koto"!!! Oh NOSTALGIA, I TELL YOU. I liked that song! He later sang "Jesus"... I dislike how Gackt tries to do the rock thing. It doesn't quite work for me. But that is just me... Gackt's ballads are what I like. Cos his voice is deep and... uh... he switches from key to key really well. Not that I know shit about music, really. But his voice is... ah~

Uh... this is totally unrelated, but mushrooms and tofus are the best stuff. Seriously. I haven't had a burger for... more than half a year. I think it is reaching a year. Vege makes up 70% of my daily food intake. And I used to be such a carnivore.

The first thing DoTs asked Tegoshi was if he is still using the "Tegoshi desu" self introduction stance that DoTs 'gave' him 5 years ago. He is still using it. We know he is. xD DoTs wanted to charge him with royalties. I mean, he did invent it. Intellectual property is protected by the World Trade Organization, you know? Under the TRIPS or Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property. ^^

Then DoKo came up with a gesture like that for Masuda. Since his kanji means... gaining or something, DoKo came up with a 'fattening' gesture for self introduction. FukaKyon came up with one too. xD He used Kyoko's and then both the gestures cover their faces, so DoTs was like "That's the smell of a dangerous man..."

When Massu was talking about his recent embarrassing experience of slipping on the stairs, DoKo said that he would teach Massu the WAY to fall from stairs. (If anyone remembers, he offered that the Inoue Mao as well. xDDD DoKo, you idiot.) Massu said he has confident in beating DoKo in terms of drawing. Well yeah, but I know I can't. My god have you seen my drawing? (Chill, I know its not about me and stuff, but still... how can they call DoKo bad at drawing stuff?!)

xD Because Massu said he is the type to confess his feelings right away and DoKo is like unable to do that, neither does he believe in love at first sight, they asked him to demonstrate a confession that comes right away, as he walks down a street. xD This was hilarious. xD He just points suddenly and shouts "I LIKE YOU!" xD Idiot.

Kato came on screen looking hotter than he has ever been and he said how Tegomass's selling point is that they are cute but they are not cute actually. xD Oh Shige has this eloquence about him. He called the two KY though. xD I have to laugh every time someone says KY. xD Hilarity.

The Domoto Kyoudai Drawing Competition starts. xD Didn't they do that with Ayu as well? I love this segment. TEGOSHIIIIII! (A la Macchan from NewS's appearance on Heyx3) His drawing of Rhinos totally freaked me out. Even me. I can draw better than Tegoshi. ^^ DoKo ran around criticizing the drawings of Tegoshi and Massu and DoTs. Especially when it came to DoTs. xD DoKo's expression. xD Idiot. (Its totally a compliment, you know, like, I like them stupid.) ALL FOUR OF THEM CAN'T DRAW FOR SHIT. They are like... um... me. xD Okay, DoTs does it with a touch of individuality and abstract-ness. They then had to draw FukaKyon. I... don't quite know what to say.

I should admit that I did not and have not listened to the song yet. xD No time, too busy with other stuff. But I heard snippets of it, it sounds good. I might give it a try later. I didn't like "Miso Soup" though. I have to say, I don't quite like Massu. Yeah, he just seems a bit boring, and Tegoshi seems to contain all the makings of a prissy bitch. xD Well he is walking that pretty boy path.

OMFG DOKO YOU IDIOT! xDDD Okay, xD seriously, I can't... see that face without laughing right now. Seriously, Kansai people are hilarious. I never thought I'd say that Kansai people and Kantou people are different, but after many, many cases of Kansai people being totally I-don't-know-what. I can say that, its no wonder Kansai people are thought of as funnay.

Hitoto You said that her dad is Taiwanese, so DoKo was all "How do you read Imai Tsubasa in Chinese again?" xD Hitoto didn't know the kanji for the name and DoKo TOOK THE TROUBLE to write it in the air. xD Then DoTs was so protective of Tsubasa by saying "Its not that bad" and stuff. DoKo, you are just jealous aren't you?

Then they played some games, including a game similar to tag. Ah... I remember why I liked KinKi Kids... but they are nearing 30 aren't they? Why don't they rename themselves to like, KinKi Men or KinKi Cool Dudes or something. xD Kids just sounds like they are trying too hard to grasp their youth in their palms. And the youth is slipping away like... stuff.
