[Movie] Yatterman

Once upon a time, there was this Skull Stone which was split into four pieces and legend has it that whoever who is able to unite all four pieces will have a dream of theirs miraculously come true.

The self-proclaimed god of theives, Dokurobei, sent his underlings, the Dorombo gang, after the pieces. The trio had to face off against the two Yatterma(e)n who was hell bent on protecting Shoko, the daughter of the archaeologist Kaeida, who was on a quest to find all four stones himself.

Yatterman #1, Gan-chan, the only son of a toy store owner and Yatterman #2 Ai-chan are a pair of crime-fighting sweethearts. They fight evil with the gadgets they made in their underground lair which was the birth place of Yatterwan and Omotchama.

Their arch enemy, the Dorombo gang is made up of the gorgeous femme fatale Doronjo, Boyacky who adores Doronjo and Tonzra, the glutton. The three are always up to no good as Yatterman tried to put their evil to rest.

Meanwhile, various things are disappearing mysteriously... what does this have anything to do with the much sought-after Skull Stone? Will Dokurobei's attempt to collect all four pieces of the Skull Stone? Or will Yatterman manage to stop them from it?

Dude, this is the most weird-ass movie I've watched in a while. I don't even know what to say. I'd have thought that the target audience is the kids... then there are the many not-so-suitable-for-kids scenes. Like that big-ass robot with big-ass boobies. Jeez.

I am not familiar with the anime series. So I can't comment much about the story or the characters and how well the actor played them. What I can comment on is... Gan-chan is supposed to be a teenage boy right? Fine, fine... I'll let that go.

I guess the movie is made to be comical. The whole thing is exaggerated, that includes the outfits, the reactions, the acting, the CGI. I really am not sure how much I like this movie. I am slightly entertained by it, but it is no masterpiece, of that I am sure.

Little is focused on the acting as the CG effects take center stage, the protagonists are bland and boring while the Dorombo gang are just plain retarded. Just who are the target audience of this movie? Too juvenile for adults, too sexed up for kids.

Why all the fuss over the movie? That, I am not sure. Maybe it seemed like it was a big fuss because Sho was starring in it. Maybe because it is Yatterman. Miike Takashi? Not sure. But it is most probably overrated. I was, however, rooting for Doronjo and Gan-chan. Though it was dead obvious that the Yatterma(e)n were going to stick. How boring is that?

[Buzz] FukaKyon's Outfit Arouses Men

On set of the new movie "Yatterman" based on an ancient anime from way back when, FukaKyon plays the antagonist (and very sexy) woman named Doronjo. The movie is to be kept as close to the original anime as possible as the many characters were wearing clothes, using things that are reproduced from the images of the anime. They tried to stay true to the wildly popular anime.

And so, FukaKyon's costume is no exception. A few details might have been changed to... uh... adapt to the changing time, but the gist of what Doronjo is supposed to be like can still be seen on the costume.

And the men are very excited. xD Okay, I might have made a lot of things up. But seriously... xD

Said movie also stars Sakurai Sho and Fukuda Saki will be playing a couple and of course, the two Yattermans. And Gan-chan will have lots of love interests, including Fukuda Saki's, FukaKyon's character and an original character from the film (and playing that character is Okamoto Anri, the girl who played Asou Haruto's patient in the SP of "1 Litre of Tears" She is 14. And Sho would be a freakin' pedo.) Or so, I read. You know? I hope FukaKyon wins. xD

I really like her outfit, btw. Like... xD it looks so slutty, it is amazing.

I like Fukuda Saki too. But I like FukaKyon more. xD I watched FukaKyon's episode of Shukudai from a long time ago, and I could swear that Sho flirted with her, a bit. Since then, I sorta like... think that they're great together. xD (I swear, he tried with the stupid Relakkuma question.)

We also look forward to this movie, very much. Arashi sings the theme song.

And Sho... uh, okay, how do I put this subtly... Oh, I know. Nino is the actor of the group. I haven't watched the movie, but I have watched Sho is several other movies. And... Nino's the actor. Some might say Jun, but Jun cannot hold a candle to Nino.

This is the first time Hikki has been on Domoto Kyoudai. xD It seems that Hikki and FukaKyon are tight. Never knew that. I knew Hikki that Leah Dizon are friends though. DoKo was being an idiot like he always, always is. DoTs is the sensible one. Well, more or less.

They talked about how KinKi Kids and Hikki met in M-Sta (Or rather, Tamori Station) and Heyx3 (OR as they call it Downtown Station) but never elsewhere. Then they talked about Hikki and FukaKyon's friendship and the two were all holding hands and stuff. Aww... so cute. xD I envy people who have like, a group of tight friends that they can lean on. They know they have friends to lean on and all. Envy... I am. T_T Sucks that I am such an unfriendly bitch. Oh well.

In the future, if Hikki and DoKo meets, they will do a high touch. xDDD When asked what she played with when she was little. Hikki said she pours water from one container to another and DoKo said, "Oh I found someone who shares my interest!" xD I remember doing that too. When I was little I was dumped into a large, large bucket. That was my tub. And I have those plastic containers with me, xD and I'd pour water in and out. So, its not weird. I am sure a lot of people do that too.

Hikki loves bears. Ah, that explains the "Boku wa kuma, kuma, kuma, kuma, kuruma jyanai yo," xDDDDDDD She has a bear that's larger than her in her house. xD Then they talked about some stuff that I am too lazy to think about what it is so we will skip to the: She later performed "Flavor of Life" and I initially thought it was okay, but not brilliant. It grows on you.

Note:
In Japan, "Yankee" is the name for those who are part of a bikers' gang. They are often seen wearing embroidered overcoats, speaking rudely and fighting a lot.

Ryugasaki Momoko is a 17-year-old girl who is obsessed with Lolita Fashion. The frilly dresses, parasols, pastel colours, cute things, sweet things were all she cared about. She doesn't care for anyone or anything else - that includes her father and friends.

One day, she decided that she needed another source of income instead of relying on her ex-Yankee of a father who now sells toys for a living. (He used to sell imitation clothes and bags and was popular with the biker gangs but the popularity led to lawsuits.) So she advertised those leftover imitation goods in a magazine and a respond arrived. She invited the respondent to her house to purchase those goods.

As she was waiting, a Yankee arrived, her name is Ichigo. (But at first, she disguised her name as Ichiko as it sounded more Yankee-ish.) Soon, Ichigo appeared at Momoko's house more and more often. Before she knew it, Momoko started to care about Ichigo as a friend like she never cared for another before.

I like this movie a lot.

I can't say why. This movie blends the touching, slow-growing friendship between the two and humour really well. Occasionally inserting animation to fluff up the story. Fukakyon looked really cute in those lolita clothing. I want those! They are so colourful and stuff. Anyways, Tsuchiya Anna still looks beautiful although she had to ugly-fy herself in those clothes and horrible make up.

The two actresses are well-suited to their roles. We all know how cute Fukakyon has always been. And Anna's low voice and her rocker image makes her blend into Ichigo's character really well! Plus there are those rumours... about her... which I don't believe, but it makes her even more believable as Ichigo!

I love this movie... just saying... xD I watched this movie cos... I haven't watched anything in a while. So I just figured... maybe I should give it a try. Could have been any other movie. But I am glad I picked this.

Starring: Fukada Kyoko, Oikawa Mitsuhiro

Two painters fell in love. One, a jolly cheerful girl, Kana. The other, a shy, introverted man of few words, Ryosuke. They later went on a date. During the date, Kana's parents were notified by a doctor that she was diagnosed with early Alzheimer.

Kana's sickness was kept from her as her relationship with Ryosuke progressed. When they decided to get married, Ryosuke was told by her parents of Kana's sickness. Ryosuke decided that he will marry her all the same.

They got married and marital bliss lasted for about a year. Kana's sickness progressed to the point where she forgot her way home and mistook her husband for Satoshi, her brother.

I skipped a lot of scenes and it was RAW. So I didn't really understand what they were talking about. I know la, when they say "Bye bye"... that is about it. ^^

Lets... see... it is boring. But the last 10 minutes was kinda sad, ethereal and sad. Like how can a man be so loyal to the wife?! I mean, men are men. You know?

This dude Oikawa is too old... >.> When he was crying, his mucus came down to his mouth and then to his chin. It was so gross I was disturbed. >.>

For me, Fukada Kyoko and Tackey are like... the best match on TV. They were together in so many dramas. Let me recount...

There is: "News no Onna", "Strawberry on the Shortcake" (Haven't watched this one), "Kimi ga Kureta Natsu" (Later I go find... since I am in the Tackey phase).

Anyways, I like Kyokey. xDDD
