OMFG This is one shitty PV, like their debut PV is a bajillion times better than this. It isn't a double A-side, but they have a PV for the B-side as well. This calls for cost cutting. Okay, cost cutting is fine, but this PV is... I can't watch it twice. So, I miss out details cos I can't even stare at the screen cos it is so horribly degrading.
Crappy set, crappy CGIs, what the fuck was Kame wearing?! I love the drama. I lost my hate for KAT-TUN. And so, I am unable to point and laugh and how they have fallen from their past glory. Have I seen a more horrible PV? I have. But this is the worst KAT-TUN PV there is.
Remember the days when you can count on KAT-TUN to give you the best PVs and the best singles? Remember when Tak Matsumoto and various famous people wrote great songs for them but was ruined by the horrible singing voice of Taguchi Junnosuke?
Those days, my friends, are gone. The first time I heard the single play (during the rolling credits of Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge) I thought, no shit. For real?! Well, it grows on you after a while, the song, but shit the PV is so horrible, I can't stop saying it's horrible.
Jin's all "I am a rocker, its all about the sex and the drugs." Kame's all.... Kame. Posh Spice's evil twin... I seriously almost forgot his name. Whoa, gone are the days when I can blurt out the names and their birth year in my sleep. Good times, good times.
They're not even dancing. They were all just standing in front of a big-ass plastic heart with a hideous shape. What is this? Released in time for Valentine's Day? Oh wait... it is. The song is so bland, I won't play it when I am trying to poop. (There was once, I played Bohemian Rhapsody when I poop. My standard is high y'all.)
The lighting... It's one big-ass fake sun from the back. I don't even know, who directed it? Seriously? Cos I can direct better for less. See, imagine this, the five dudes and Posh Spice's evil twin were all drunk one night. And they decided to play poker. =D
PV ends with them in their boxers ONLY - and that includes evil version of Posh Spice. See? I am good, hire me.
Koki looks like crap in here. Sorry, but true. Fake thugs turn me OFF. OFF!
Hmmm... I ran out of things to say, except that the PV ended with the same image as the beginning. That's like... whoa do you need to cut cost to this extend? Seriously?
This is a KAT-TUN update cos I so ran out of things to say about Arashi, everyone's saying something about Arashi, even my friends around me. That makes me a bit... like... okay, they're famous, we know, they're retarded, we like them, now tell me something else.
Pi and Kame were the first ones to arrive on stage and they introduced Arashi who performed "Believe". They were the MCs for the third year in a row. Can someone else take over now? I mean, I'd like to see something new every year. Kinda sucks that whoever sells the most gets more airtime. But that's the way it is isn't it? Remember when KAT-TUN ruled the world - or at least Japan? Yeah, a long time ago that was. Arashi got to kick off the show. What I like about them is that they always look like they're enjoying their job (as of late, lets forget MatsuJun's rebellious period) and that's what the audience want to see, smiles, cos god knows real life sucks enough ass. We want smiling faces. What happened to Aiba's hair? It was... fluffy. Yeesh. Next came Johnny's debut single medley. KinKi Kids performed "Garasu no Shounen" with DoTs looking very out of it. The only time his face got close to a smile was during the performance of "Fantastipo" with Taichi. We'll get to that later. KAT-TUN came up with "Real Face"... ah... I haven't listened to this in months! Strangely, I don't quite dislike them anymore. Actually, I might find them endearing to a certain level. Yes, even Jin. Okay, that was because he actually was into the performances. Remember when KAT-TUN was all about the attitude? That was annoying. Kanjani8 was not at the Tokyo Dome, I think they were at the Kyosera Dome with their own countdown concert and they performed "Naniwa Iroha Bushi". Hina had something on his head, let's presume it is NOT the shape of the Kyosera dome, cos that would be kinda lame wouldn't it? Wait... NEWS next with "NEWS Nippon", Kanjani8 was singing along from the other Dome. NEWS might have become my new KAT-TUN. So I want to talk about what K8 was wearing, it was the animal print wasn't it? The one that is often associated with Osaka and... uncoolness. And they wore em with pride. Good for them! V6!!! V6 with "Music For The People" I am so totally addicted to V6 nowadays. And Kamisen has all the men you need. There's the thug, the cute one and the refined gentleman. Right? Right? And their only flaw is that they're midgets. I'm taller than all of them. Ken is the tallest right? I'm 2 centimeters taller. xDDD They don't get enough credit for what they do these days.
Takki & Tsubasa, "Sotsugyou"... Takki's somewhere else. I yawn and then I skipped this part. Maybe I need to watch... "Majo no Jouken" again. I dunno. Whatever. Lost interest long ago, snoozefest. NYC Boys with... "NYC", prerecorded, presumably so. Chinen is all grown up. Time flies. That Nakayama something kid, he looks like he's got the makes of MatsuJun. The features. But I already dislike him because of the ridiculous group name. Wait... all of the group names are... HSJ "Ultra Music Power", OMG the five older boys can perform now? Shit, I am fucking old. T_T For twice that night, I mistook Takaki for Kame at a glance. Yeesh, of all the people to resemble... TOKIO, "Love You Only", shit Mabo and Nagase are the sex. Joushima is turning 40. Whoa, ancient. I'm done. Except did you hear Nagase sorta acknowledged dating Aibu Saki? So it is like official. Lucky bitch. Tee-hee, nvm I like her. Arashi came in last with "A.RA.SHI". Hmm... then came the countdown. I like what the color palette for this set of clothes. The countdown to 2010 came next and the two horizontally hung phallic balloons released some confetti. Whoa, suggestive eh? (I swear, the older I get, the more obscene I get.)
The Smash Hit Medley came next with Arashi heading the pack (again) with "Love So Sweet". Shuji to Akira "Seishun Amigo". You can see that Pi was not into the dancing. At least Kame was putting more effort into it. HSJ were backing them. TOKIO "Sorafune". K8 standing on two rotating discs with oddly sprinkling water... reminded me of pee. "Fantastipo" with Toraji Haiji and the weirdest dance moves ever. DoTs vocals were great that night. NEWS "weeeek" I couldn't get a nice cap cos they were jumping. I don't want to talk about them cos I have nothing good to say. V6, "Ai Nanda" did I mention I am so into V6 again? I am so into V6. They're hilarious. KAT-TUN sang "RESCUE". I don't know why, I love this song! I didn't even watch the drama. HSJ, "Mayonaka no Shadow Boy". KinKi Kids with "Swan Song". I just watched "Ningen Shikkaku" so the image of their kiss from 16 years ago is in my mind. I have nothing decent to say, only obscenities. I think Takki performed something. I mentally blocked it out because I want to. They later sang weird songs from their seniors. I dunno. Some titles, I can't read em. So let it be k. Sakamoto, Ohno, Ken, Koyama, Aiba Junno, Taichi, Go, Tegoshi, Nino, Kame, DoKo, Nagase, Jin, Sho, Okada. Phew, long lineup! Next, "Otoko no ko, Onna no ko" by Go Hiromi. Ueda, Inocchi, Nagano, Yaotome, Shige, Inoo, Nakamaru, Yamaguchi. Shit, if there's a degree in Johnny's... Ninja, I think the song is "Omatsuri Ninja". Funny song this one. xDDD K8 were dressed like Ninjas in the other dome. In Tokyo, Massu, Taichi, Yabu, Takaki, Mabo, Koki and Arioka. Kondo Masahiko, "Sneaker Blues". Toma, Jun, Jin, Pi, Nagase, DoKo, DoTs, Kame, Okada. Don't we like that Jun-Jin moment and the NagasexDoKo? I think that was the reason DoTs looked constipated that night. SMAP's "Can't Stop Loving" with Uchi, Junno, Aiba, Yamaguchi, Nakamaru, Ken, Sakamoto, Koyama. I dislike Uchi. Tahara Toshihiko, "Aishu Date" Massu, Morita, Mabo, Ueda, Joushima, Koki, Shige, Nagano, Nino, Mabo. Nino was doing that reaching for the sky thing again. I like Go's hair. xD I like him anyhow actually. Shibugakitai, "Nai, Nai 16" Tegoshi, Sho, Uchi, Jun, Toma, Pi, Ohno, Inocchi and a very bored looking DoTs. Shonentai, "Kamen Budoukai" TxT and Nishikiori at the other venue. I don't care. TxT, "Venus". Next part, Group Change Medley, KinKi sang "Darling" by V6. Arashi "Sukiyanen, Osaka" by K8. This was it. This was the climax for me. This was when I decided that I had to talk about this show. I was feeling lazy and then this part came along. So adorable! xDDD They even did the cute sorta-choreography. Love it. Love it so much. All the before paragraphs was to justify my fangirling of this performance. Whee! K8, "One Love" by Arashi. Aww... they exchanged songs! When they were doing the weird wings-flapping thingie, Ryo was way back there iwth the biggest smile. This brings out the squealy fangirl in me. Even just or a while. It was the Eito Rangers costume ok. How can you not like that? NEWS, KinKi Kids' "Aisareru yori Aishitai". Don't fancy the song. Don't fancy the horrible dancing. Don't fancy the people performing the song. KAT-TUN with NEWS' "Kibou Yell" and Jin thought he was special that he didn't do the choreography. xD And it didn't annoy me. What is wrong with me? Seriously. TOKIO, "Keep The Faith" by KAT-TUN. Nice! Shit, Mabo's hot. The song's great. Loved it. V6 sang TOKIO's "Uwasa no Kiss". Inocchi is such a dork. Hate the jacket with the bling. Hate. Matchy appeared singing "Motto" and "Midnight Shuffle" with the entire harem backing him. Like, Matchy's the Queen (Go Hiromi's the divorced Queen) and the rest are concubines and mistresses. They all gotta suck up to the Queen. Something like that. "Hatsu Uta" came next. Everyone was singing. Those born in the year of the Tiger, we have Kame, Massu and Uchi... Taichi was intentionally left out. If I am not mistaken, Ohkura too, but he wasn't at Tokyo Dome. Next was a very rushed interview of the groups. Yeah, no fun. Moving on.
