I came across some ancient weird-ass PV-type of thing and decided that if its Johnny's, I'd watch it. And so I did.
PVs from the 80s. Back in 1988 I was chewing on pacifiers. Okay, I don't think I was capable of chewing, since I probably hadn't grown teeth yet. So yeah. It was that long ago. And when Johnny's fangirls complain about bad PVs, they should really watch this video. It'll help them shut the hell up. (Me, included.)
If you see a bad video, think Hikaru Genji. Animated people wearing tacky clothes with bad hair. But then its the trend back then, so what can we do about it eh? Oh yeah, they were wearing roller skates too. Gotta stay true to their roller skating spirit.
I think they were saving the galaxy from something. And they were doing all that with roller skates. Savvy eh?
Its sad that Akasaka turned out to be a methhead. And Sato is playing a supporting character to Ohno in a stageplay. I mean, they're so... washed out with precious few fans remembering them. I have a number of their songs and I think they are... um... okay.
They didn't make an appearance this past Countdown and I am wondering if they ever will again. Although I previously didn't like the repetitive nature of the Countdown songlist, I'd hope that the old-timers at least made an appearance.
Cos I see myself, ten years from now, reminiscing today, when Arashi, Kanjani8, NewS and KinKi Kids media is in abundance and they are still active. But one day, although its hard to imagine, but they will leave the entertainment industry. And then I might still watch Countdown every year, hoping they'd go and sing their old songs. Then I'd tell my kids, "There, there! He used to be so hot ten years ago! Oh he's still hot now but you see, aging fucks you up badly."
But yeah, music from the 80s is not bad. Shounentai's "Kimi Dake ni" is worth a try, Hikaru Genji, Otogo Gumi. I mean, their songs are still sung today, by those kids in Shounen Club.
Johnny's aside... I hate my life. I used to be a happy, cheerful, optimistic girl. T_T Oh... *goes searching for my old self.* Oh don't bother, I'll be happy when June ends. *Starts counting*
